Hello, Hello, Is Anyone There?

Report Card Deux

Regarding Hank's 2nd trimester report card (which isn't all coloring and shoe-tying by the way, thinking I should comb his hair a little nicer in the morning if he's going to be taken so seriously) :
"Henry is a sweet and happy guy. Henry really enjoys a challenge and strives to do his best every day."

I can't imagine wanting to hear anything more. This is a perfect expression of what I want for Henry for the rest of his life. I'm so proud my buttons are bursting. Then again, maybe it's all the bon bons I ate yesterday. Love love love you Henry.

Sorry Dad, I've Been Doing a Few Other Things This Week...

...Like power-washing the patio,

...painting and replacing the moulding in our hallway, 

...working, 

...making this for Brit's new baby, 

...painting, hanging curtains and replacing moulding in our bedroom, 

...making sure this guy doesn't leave the house in this hat, 

...keeping this one's clothes on, 

...but yes, Henry has been teeing it up and playing ball.  He loves it and talks about it all week before the next practice, which we are leaving for in about an hour.  Directly after, I'm headed to the grocery store for a bottle of wine and some bon bons.
