To say the scene has changed is an understatement. We've added a few underaged party-goers, upgraded the neighborhood a bit and traded a our home-made fireworks display for a view of the Comencement Bay fireworks. But the beer and the friends are the same (some of them anyway, we miss you Kevin) and we wouldn't have it any other way. The 4th of July will always be the McDougall holiday.

We so wished we could have been there! After a long morning at the neighborhood party - I was the one who was too exhausted to do anything but sit! Next year! We love you and love the McDougall 4th!
Love that old pic of our boys with their crew cuts (& that pretty girl with a perm) - how fabulously 90s! It's like a scene straight out of 90201 :)
90210.
For the record, it wasn't a perm. :) So sorry Ellie, and Kristen for that matter.
oh my, I believe this is the second time I falsely call a perm on your blog! It stops here, I promise. But actually, it was all meant as a compliment - I loooved 90210 :) And if those curls are real, then I'm jealous.
Oh but how nice is it to not wake up with that awful hangover. It's official, I am old. Looks like a pretty fab 4th, but pretty much nothing could rival the douche-bags in the top photo:).
