Aunt Meg's Farm...

...for a week. Meg was house-sitting in Gig Harbor this week. We took the opportunity to come see the animals and feed the chickens. Henry was in heaven! Made me think (for a minute anyway) about living in the country and all the fun it could be. But I also love my walk to the grocery store here on Proctor.

Lucy & Hayden

Heidi and Hayden had a visit with us today while Jon and John played golf for the CF Foundation. We took lots of sweet photos, but this video will be fun for the girls to see someday in the future too. Thanks for visiting friends!

Binkies...

Thanks to "Soothie" for making a binkie that will keep both babes quiet during storytime. Know I will kick myself for offering these to them later...but for now, they are a big help to Mom and Dad!

Japanese BBQ

Enjoyed a lovely BBQ with Ken and Shoko Shioda and Obachan (Grandmother) Shioda. Henry had lots of fun washing marbles and rolling in the grass while Lucy enjoyed a Japanese lullabye. What fun!

Thank you St. Anthony - Thank you Saul

Meg's wallet was found by Saul, manager of Azteca Restaurant in Kelso, WA in the wastebasket of the ladies room. Wohoo!

Rollin' Duo

After a long night...I needed some coffee, so we ventured out this morning on our first walk together in the double jogger. Lucy loved it and Henry held her hand almost the whole way, so she wouldn't be scared. We had fun and learned on our walk that Aunt Megan is coming today. Henry said "Megan's coming. I so happy!" True quote. For those of you who have a moment to ask a favor of Saint Anthony today: Meg lost her wallet amidst the confusion of the wedding and would really love to find it before she heads up here today. She was Brit's maid of honor and worked herself ragged...she deserves to have some luck and find that wallet! Hail Saint Anthony!

Brittany and Hunter

We attended a beautiful wedding this last weekend...my little "britty boo" got married to a very nice young lad, Hunter. We had lots of fun and thought I would share a few photos of the bride in her Grandmother's wedding gown, her handsome groom and the MOB and GOB of course. Lucy was a perfect party-goer and Henry stayed home with my Cousins Amanda and Hannah - thanks again girls!

Happy Birthday Henry!

Today Henry is 2 years old! We celebrated with a pool party last Saturday at Tacoma Country Club and today spent the morning enjoying cupcakes and cookies at the beach with his friends; Lucy, Will, Thomas, Noah, Mason, Ronan, Natalie, Layla, Ashtin, Bodie and Micah. Our playgroup has been so fun and full of such wonderful Moms and Kids. We are lucky to know all of them! Here are some pictures of a few.

Real Smiles

Four weeks old and smiling on cue now. This is a lot earlier than I remember Henry smiling. Lucy has been interesting in that way. She is definitely more opinionated that Henry ever was about a lot of things; sitting in her car seat, waiting for food, having gas, needing a diaper change. When she thinks something needs to be done, it must be done NOW! However, she is also the most consolable baby I have ever met. Two words and a pick up and she is certain you will fix whatever ails her.

Aunt Ali

Had to share this beautiful little digital scrapbooking image Aunt Ali created after a weekend together in Gearheart. She is amazingly talented and we are so blessed to benefit from this talent in the way of recorded memories such as this one. Thanks for loving us Ali - back at ya'!
