We live nextdoor to the best little pack of boys you could imagine. We are incredibly lucky to have such neighbors. I found this note slid under the door this morning. One soccor practice Henry could NOT miss.

Charlotte Oh Charlotte

What a week! We had toddlers in tubes and babies in bars. Thank you doesn't begin to do the trick Jessica and Jeffrey. We had a wonderful time and will definitely look forward to our next visit. Miss Gabrielle is one of a kind, a special lady. I love that during our week with you she learned to say "enry", that she takes any opportunity to kiss or hug her cousins and that when we've worn her out sufficiently, she rests her head on the hardwood. We love you three!

Beach Visitors

The best part of being at the beach for 10 days is the opportunity to have visitors, and we enjoyed them thoroughly! Thanks for coming guys.

Beach Retreat

A day-trip to pick up the kids from my folks at the beach turned into 10 days of sand. Sometimes it feels good to disappear. It was an incredible week, we love our beach!

Note 1: Hank fell in the ocean prior to this shot, although it wasn't the only time that week he rode home from the beach in his underpants.

Note 2: Henry wore the same t-shirt (seen below) for 5 days and I found the sweats Lu is wearing below in the free-bin at one of Longbeach's World's Longest Garage Sales.

A good reminder that there is really no reason to be so prepared in life. We all survived, thrived even. :)

Took these shots in the photo booth at the wedding of one of my oldest friends. Not literally of course, you're still quite young Mrs. Wilson :) It was a beautiful wedding and the photo booth is one of the most fun ideas I've come across at a wedding. Cheers guys!
