Beach Retreat

A day-trip to pick up the kids from my folks at the beach turned into 10 days of sand. Sometimes it feels good to disappear. It was an incredible week, we love our beach!

Note 1: Hank fell in the ocean prior to this shot, although it wasn't the only time that week he rode home from the beach in his underpants.
Note 2: Henry wore the same t-shirt (seen below) for 5 days and I found the sweats Lu is wearing below in the free-bin at one of Longbeach's World's Longest Garage Sales.
A good reminder that there is really no reason to be so prepared in life. We all survived, thrived even. :)

I hope the one of your parents swinging the kids is blown up, framed and on the wall the next time I'm at the beach! Love these!

Honestly - had to comment on the one of your parents swinging the kids - you HAVE to frame it! Love that and the one of Hen in his undies - love that you survived with the clothes on your back - it truly is all you need!
