Holiday Hunt

Spent the day with Lucy at Bargain World on Pearl.  I always find the best things when I am thrift shopping with my kids.  They have the most incredible little eyes. Here's our haul from the day.

Girl Talk and Le Creuset lid for Cristina (she just broke her lid handle, this will make for a great $6 repair).

Vintage metal rolodex sits in my office now and will hold all the business cards I've been hanging on to.

Little enamel pot with teal rim filled with our remaining Holiday candy.

The 1960's Alladin Plastics thermos I threw in the cart for Hank's school soup, may end up in the bar.

Found Volume 3 of the 1970's Big Bird's Sesame Street Dictionary set we've been collecting.

I have big plans for the little chair and couldn't pass on the 'like new' basketball rim (still with original bolts) for $6.  These retail for $100+, I couldn't let it sit there.  We obviously have one of these, so if anyone needs/wants it, let me know!

What fun finds! I have an old Rolodex and love it. I'm guessing since you plan to keep business cards in there, you may be aware of the sweet $5 punch you can get at any office store to punch the bottom of the card so it fits in said Rolodex, but I thought I'd mention it if you hadn't.
